Quote builder
Fill in what you know, then choose how to send it. The form turns your answers into a message in your own WhatsApp, SMS or email app. Nothing is uploaded to this website. Please read our collection notice before you send.
The quote form needs JavaScript. You can call us on 0447 890 901, message us on WhatsApp or email [email protected].
What to send
A removalist or handyman quote is only as good as the details behind it. These four things cover most jobs.
Each room or the items that are going, anything big or heavy, and the wall for a mounting job. A short walk-through video works too.
Both addresses for a move, including unit numbers, or the suburb and postcode for other jobs. They set the travel zone and the drive time.
Floor levels, lifts, stairs, parking and loading docks, and whether the truck can stop within 20 metres of the door.
Your preferred date and time of day. If you’re flexible, say so: weekdays and Saturdays have different rates.
“Hi FixMove, I’d like a quote. 2-bedroom unit on level 3 with a lift, Newtown NSW 2042 to Marrickville NSW 2204. The new building has a loading dock and the lift needs booking. A weekday in the next fortnight, early start. One queen bed to take apart and rebuild. Photos attached.”
Where you can, keep people, ID documents and mail out of your photos. We only need to see the items, the rooms and the way in.
After you send it
If something’s missing, such as a floor level or a photo of a big item, we ask before we price it.
We send the total by SMS, WhatsApp or email, worked out from the rates on our prices page. All prices include GST.
Nothing is booked until you accept the written price. There’s no deposit to pay.
If the job is different from what we agreed, we stop, explain and re-quote before carrying on.
Business hours
Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
You can send a message or use the quote builder at any time. Anything that arrives outside these hours waits until we’re next open. If your date is close, call us rather than emailing.
We don’t promise a set reply time or arrival time. Your start time is agreed in writing when you book.
Jobs are booked Monday to Saturday. We don’t take bookings on Sundays or public holidays. A move that starts in the afternoon can finish after 6pm; see late finishes on our prices page.
Your information
Who we are. FixMove is operated by Reboot Decorating Pty Ltd (ABN 30 663 037 572). You can contact us using the details on this page.
What we collect and why. When you ask for a quote, we collect your name, your phone number or email, the addresses or suburbs, the date, access details, a description of the job and any photos you send. We use them to price the job, book it, do the work and contact you about it. If you leave out the addresses or job details, we may not be able to give you an accurate price.
How it reaches us. The quote builder runs in your browser and doesn’t send anything to this website. Your details reach us only when you send the message through WhatsApp, SMS or email, so that service also handles it under its own terms (WhatsApp, for example, is run by Meta, and SMS goes through our mobile carrier).
Who we share it with. The people doing your job, and service providers that help us run the business, such as our messaging and email providers. Some of them, including WhatsApp, store information outside Australia; our privacy policy lists where. We don’t sell your information.
Offers. We only send offers if you tick the box on the form. Every offer tells you how to unsubscribe, and we act on an unsubscribe request within 5 working days.
Access, correction and complaints. Our privacy policy explains how to see or correct the information we hold about you, how to make a complaint, and when you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you’re not happy with our answer.
Business details
Check these before you book any business, including us. ABN Lookup shows the legal name, ABN status and GST registration of any Australian business, free.
Our terms of service cover bookings, cancellations and payment, and our prices page lists every rate.
No. Asking for a quote is free, and you’re not committed to anything until you accept the written price.
Yes. We price from the photos and details you send and confirm the total in writing before the job. If the job on the day doesn’t match what we agreed, we stop, explain and re-quote before carrying on. For a big move we may ask to see the place first, and we’ll tell you before we come whether that visit costs anything.
Send the details with a rough date range. Weekdays and Saturdays have different rates, so if you’re flexible we can give you both prices. We don’t take bookings on Sundays or public holidays.
No. The form runs in your browser and only builds a message, so nothing is sent to or stored on this website. Your details reach us when you press send in WhatsApp, SMS or email, and we then handle them as our privacy policy explains.
Tell us as soon as you notice, ideally before the crew leaves, and take photos. We’ll look at what happened and work out a fix with you. If the damage came from us not taking due care, the Australian Consumer Law gives you a right to a remedy. It’s also worth checking whether your contents insurance covers your things during a move.
Contact us first by phone, message or email and tell us what went wrong. We’ll work through it with you. If we can’t agree, you can contact NSW Fair Trading, Consumer Affairs Victoria or the Queensland Office of Fair Trading, depending on where the work was done. See complaints and disputes in our terms.
No. A request only asks for a price. Your job is booked once you accept our written quote and we confirm the date and start time with you. Cancellations are covered in our terms.
